The Baja Designs XL40 KTM LED Headlight Kit is a moto-specific lighting upgrade built for trail riders, dual sport enthusiasts, and desert racers who refuse to let darkness cut their ride short. Designed around the performance DNA of the XL80, the XL40 brings serious illumination to motorcycles running lower-output OEM stators — delivering a meaningful light upgrade without overtaxing your bike's electrical system.

At the heart of this kit is the XL Trail Lens, which spreads light both vertically and horizontally to give you strong near-field coverage and peripheral awareness through tight singletrack, quick elevation changes, and technical corners. Instead of a harsh centre hotspot, you get an even, confidence-inspiring field of light exactly where you need it when the terrain gets unpredictable.

The headlight comes pre-installed inside a replacement shell sized for 2020-and-newer KTM models, making this a clean, plug-and-play installation rather than a fabrication project. All necessary mounting hardware is included in the kit, so you can focus on the trail instead of sourcing parts. Note that hi/low beam functionality requires a compatible KTM/Husqvarna Hi/Low harness, sold separately.
