The Baja Designs XL40 KTM LED Headlight Kit is a purpose-built motorcycle lighting upgrade designed for trail, Dual Sport, and desert riding on KTM dirt bikes. Rather than a generic retrofit, this kit fits directly into the stock headlight shell, making installation straightforward and clean without hacking into your existing wiring.

At the heart of this kit is the XL Trail Lens, which redistributes light away from a harsh centre hot spot and spreads it both vertically and horizontally across the terrain in front of you. That beam character matters most on tight singletrack and technical terrain — you get genuine near-field and peripheral coverage through quick corners, elevation changes, and blind crests rather than a narrow tunnel of light that leaves your edges dark.

Because KTM's OEM stator runs on A/C power, the included rectifier converts it to D/C so the XL40 runs cleanly off your stock harness without overloading a lower-output electrical system.
