Inspired by the XL80 platform, the XL40 brings that same trail-proven pedigree to Husqvarna dirt bikes with lower-output OEM stators — delivering serious illumination without overloading your electrical system.

At the heart of this kit is the XL Trail Lens, which generates both a vertical and horizontal beam pattern designed to eliminate harsh hot spots and redistribute light more evenly across technical terrain. Whether you're threading tight singletrack, navigating quick elevation changes, or pushing through fast desert stretches at night, the Trail Lens keeps your field of view smooth and confidence-inspiring rather than blinding in the center and dark at the edges.

Installation is straightforward — the kit fits directly into the existing Husqvarna headlight shell as a plug-and-play OEM replacement, and comes with a vehicle-specific faceplate and all necessary mounting hardware. Note that Hi/Low beam functionality requires the KTM/Husqvarna Hi/Low harness, sold separately.
