The Baja Designs XL40 is a moto-specific LED headlight kit engineered as a direct OEM replacement for Yamaha WR dirt bikes, built for trail riders and dual sport enthusiasts who push into low-light and night riding conditions. Drawing inspiration from the trail-proven XL80 platform, the XL40 brings serious lighting performance to bikes running lower-output OEM stators, delivering powerful illumination without overwhelming your electrical system.

At the heart of the XL40 is the signature XL Trail Lens, which produces both a vertical and horizontal beam spread optimized for tight singletrack and technical terrain. Rather than throwing a harsh central hotspot down the trail, the Trail Lens redistributes light intensity across the near field and periphery — exactly what you need when navigating quick elevation changes, blind corners, and rooted switchbacks at speed.

Installation is straightforward since the XL40 drops directly into the stock Yamaha WR headlight shell using the included vehicle-specific faceplate and mounting hardware.
