The Baja Designs XL40 Husqvarna Headlight Kit is a purpose-built LED lighting upgrade designed for trail riders, dual sport enthusiasts, and desert racers who push their motorcycles well past sunset. Inspired by the performance of the XL80, the XL40 brings that same trail-proven approach to a broader range of moto applications, delivering serious illumination without overwhelming the lower-output stators common on off-road bikes.

At the heart of this kit is the XL Trail Lens, which produces both a vertical and horizontal beam pattern engineered to eliminate harsh hot spots and redistribute light more evenly across your field of view. This matters most on tight technical singletrack and quick elevation changes, where smooth near-field and peripheral coverage gives you the reaction time you actually need rather than a blinding center spike.

Installation is straightforward because the kit is designed as a direct OEM replacement for 2015-2016 Husqvarna models, complete with a vehicle-specific faceplate and all necessary mounting hardware included in the box.
