The Baja Designs XL40 (D/C) Headlight Kit is a moto-specific LED headlight assembly built for KTM dirt bikes and dual sport riders who want serious trail visibility without overtaxing a lower-output OEM stator. Engineered from the ground up as a direct OEM replacement, it brings the same trail-proven XL Series pedigree down to a draw that works with the electrical systems found on these bikes — opening the door to premium lighting for riders who previously had no compatible option.

At the heart of this kit is the XL Trail Lens, which spreads light both vertically and horizontally to give you strong near-field coverage and peripheral awareness through tight singletrack, technical climbs, and quick elevation changes. Rather than throwing a harsh center hot spot, the Trail Lens redistributes intensity across the beam for a smooth, even field that reads the terrain clearly at speed.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the included KTM-specific faceplate and mounting hardware, which slots directly into your bike's stock headlight pocket with no fabrication needed.
