Rock Lights Overview Video
Unmatched Light Output
With a true power draw over 10 watts and peak output of 1000 lumens, Stage Series Rock Lights are the brightest on the market. Most generic rock lights run at only a few watts — the Stage Series is a significant step up across the entire category. Where generic options require two or three units to light up one area, a single Stage Series rock light delivers the coverage and output you need.
Dual Power Levels
A simple 3-wire system lets you select low-power or high-power mode. At 3 watts, the low-power mode already matches the max output of most generic rock lights — useful for campsite lighting or conserving battery. The 3-wire setup also enables dual-function capability for custom builds: tie the low and high power inputs into your factory harness to use rock lights as running/brake lights or running/turn signal — all from one compact unit.
Optically Engineered Lenses
Most rock lights use a simple clear cover with no optical engineering. Stage Series rock lights incorporate four individual optics molded into the outer lens, providing an excellent spread of light with even, consistent coverage. The lens is thick automotive-grade polycarbonate built to handle trail abuse. Best of all, the lenses are interchangeable — snap on a different color or switch between clear and diffused options anytime.
Mount Anywhere
Every Stage Series Rock Light comes standard with a center bolt mount (hidden under the lens) and built-in side tabs for zip-tie mounting. Beyond that, additional mounting kits cover every application:
- Tube Mount: Clamps to roll bars, bull bars, roof racks, and cargo baskets using two hose clamps. Fits nearly any tube diameter.
- Magnetic Mount: Rubber-coated N42 neodymium magnet — the strongest commercially available. No drilling, no marring, and fully rust-proof.
- Flush Mount: Recesses the rock light into bumpers, truck beds, or wheel wells with about an inch of depth. Clean, integrated appearance.
- Surface Mount: Mounts to any flat surface with a durable powder-coated diecast bracket. Includes a 20-degree angle adapter for directed light output.
Color Options
Single Color: Available in cool white (6000K), amber, red, green, and blue. All use the same high-power white LEDs underneath — the interchangeable lenses determine the color output. White delivers maximum brightness, while amber and red add functional capability for running light and turn signal dual-function setups.
RGBW Multicolor: Four high-intensity RGBW emitters per light with full color spectrum control through the Diode Dynamics Bluetooth controller and app. The dedicated white chip produces a pure, bright white — far better than the mixed RGB white you get from competitors. Supports color selection, strobes, fades, and brightness control on the fly.
Simple Connections
Stage Series Rock Lights are available with either 10-inch bare wire leads for custom wiring, or an M8 barrel-style connector for plug-and-play compatibility with included harnesses. The M8 connector is only 8mm in diameter — easy to route anywhere. Up to 16 rock lights can be wired together on a single system.
Proven Reliability
IP68 waterproof rated — submersible to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Cast aluminum housing with a pin-fin heatsink for effective thermal management. UV-coated automotive-grade polycarbonate lens. Tested in-house from -40°F to 185°F for vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion. Assembled in the USA. Backed by a limited 8-year warranty.
